Bachelor of Science Degree
The Bachelor of Science Degree Program is open only to graduates of FIDM's Associate of Arts Degree Program.
Built on the theme of “Creative Leadership,” this program maximizes students' competitive advantage in the workplace. FIDM Students enter the Bachelor's program already conversant with the creative process, the innovative mindset, and basic design principles. Students receive an in-depth exposure to professional management challenges, an experience in inventive discovery, and a sense of personal academic achievement and leadership.
Associate of Arts Degree Programs
Associate of Arts Programs are designed for high school graduates or applicants who meet the institution's Ability to Benefit (ATB) criteria. These programs offer the highly specialized curriculum of a specific major as well as a traditional liberal arts/general studies foundation:

Associate of Arts Professional Designation Degree Programs
FIDM's Professional Designation Programs are transfer programs for individuals with a U.S. Associate's or Bachelor's degree or a certified international degree who wish to add a new field of specialization. These are 9-15 month programs of intensive study in one of the college's specialized majors and culminate in the awarding of an Associate of Arts Professional Designation degree. Students from other regionally accredited degree programs have the opportunity to complement their previous education by enrolling in a Professional Designation Program.
Acceptance to the Professional Designation Program is contingent upon:
U.S. Students
- Possession of a U.S. regionally accredited As sociate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree.
- Evaluation of the degree to verify that certain liberal arts requirements have been met.
International Students
- Possession of a degree certified to be equivalent to a U.S. regionally accredited Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree.
- TOEFL score of 207 computer-based or 76 internet-based – OR successful passing of the FIDM Essay Placement Exam.
Associate of Arts Advanced Study Degrees
Associate of Arts Advanced Study Programs develop specialized expertise in the student's unique area of study. Admission is limited to candidates who possess a prior FIDM degree in a related discipline.
