Importance is placed within the Graphic Design Program on problem-solving, using effective communication, professionalism, and critical reasoning to strengthen the students' abilities to compete in the global marketplace.
FIDM's Graphic Design Program prepares students for dynamic careers within the Apparel, Advertising, and Entertainment industries. Students may concentrate their studies in either Branding or Entertainment.
Marketing is the focus of FIDM's Entertainment Option. Students learn to design materials to successfully market theatrical releases, home entertainment products, games, sports, concerts, special events, and television.
In FIDM's Branding Option, students explore the essentials of creating and promoting brand identity: logo and symbol design, desktop publishing, website design, developing characters for the licensing of a product line, packaging and collateral material, and giving personality and individuality to a brand.
