FIDM's 1997 Textile Design Exhibit

Meet the 1997 graduates of our Textile Design Program and see their work on display in our Gallery.

The Textile Design department at FIDM is a highly specialized department that teaches surface design (print) and structural design (weaving and knitting) to a select group of talented students. Students are taught by industry professionals in studios that are equipped with the same supplies and computers that are used in the industry. Our curriculum has an international reputation for producing talented and innovative designers.

Each year, graduates of our program in Textile Design showcase their work in the FIDM Gallery at the annual Textile Design Exhibit. This year's exhibit opened on June 11th to a crowd of FIDM supporters and industry decision-makers looking for tomorrow's hot new designers. Past graduates have gone on to design for hundreds of companies including Guess?, Nike, Disney, and Mossimo. Featured here is the work of our 1997 Textile Design graduates.
