The great news, though it can be a bit frustrating, is that I have seen skirts of all lengths in the stores lately. I've seen minis, I've seen knee-length, I've seen below the knee, and I've seen long skirts. This means that there is no one cool skirt length that everyone will be wearing, but that you will have to choose what length for whatever outfit, day and occasion you're dressing for.

I know -- this can get messy! But everyone really chooses just a few of her favorites anyway, and leaves the rest alone. For instance, I prefer wearing primarily long and knee-length skirts. I don't wear many minis or mid-calf. You might be a mini-girl, and shun long skirts. Probably very few of us really want to wear all skirt lengths, so we don't really need to load up our wardrobe with all the choices. If you are the type who does, get one of each, and mix it up!

Since you can wear just about any length skirt at this point and be in fashion, when you go shopping, think about what length skirt you feel most comfortable and"you"in, and buy most of your skirts in that length. You've got to feel comfortable in something for it to work well for you.
